The steps for rail-freight are:
- The railway container is delivered by truck to the shipper’s loading station.
- Once the container is loaded, it is picked up by truck and transported to the nearest railway service center.
- The goods travel in wagons on the railway to the destination.
- When it reaches its destination, it is transferred by truck to the final destination.
